After much deliberation it has been decided to discontinue the weekly Sunday Blues sessions. The appeal of
the Sunday pm gig-slot in Hull was, perhaps, overjudged . . . even when The Hull Daily Mail "got it
right" for The Cadillac Kings appearance on 23 Apr, the turnout was disappointing, this despite a low-price ticket policy with concessions
for the unwaged etc. Thanks go to everyone who has been involved with Sunday Blues over the
past 6 months . . . the bands & artists, the media, the venue and, most
of all the small nucleus of Sunday afternoon Blueshounds who were determined to have a good time & to enjoy the excellent performances
each week.
